This class provides an overview of rock formation and then moves into the practical preparation, procedures and application of hot and cold stones for a complete full body treatment. Students will understand the selection care and usage of stones as practical tools for an intensely therapeutic and decadently relaxing massage. All students will give and receive a fully body hot stone massage. Please bring a set of twin sheets, 2 large towels and massage oil.

Summary: This foundation class covers a mix of aromatherapy treatments that a massage practitioner can use in their practice. An aromatherapy kit provides the essential oils for the activities of blending and participating in various types of massage treatments. The class will include several receipts and treatments for back compresses, foot treatments and self care treatments. This generic class is meant to be for the professional seeking additional "feel good" things to do as well as providing the practitioners with reasons why essential oils can be therapeutic basic on the chemical constituents.
